The lights are up on Michigan Avenue, the Christkindlmarket is open in Daley Plaza, and Sears Tower (no, we won’t call it Willis) is lit up with red and green – the holiday season is in full force here in Chicago! As important as it is to stay in touch with clients all year long, the holidays are a natural time for REALTORS® to reach out to their contacts. Traditional methods, such as holiday cards and other mailers are suitable and effective in certain circles, but maybe it’s time to do something a little different to catch the attention of a wider audience.
Don’t forget to market IRL. Organize clients to volunteer for your favorite charity, or share your own volunteer experience with your clients. Consider hosting a holiday party or event for clients. You could even pair up with vendors you commonly work with to offset costs of an event. Of course, remember to behave if you throw or attend any parties this season!
